EDUCATION PROGRAMS

In a classroom

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY:
Dr. Eleanor M. DiPalma is an adjunct faculty member at New York University's School of Continuing Education.
She has designed a course, "Working Women's Issues of the Nineties" for The Management Institute and she has formerly served as advisor in the Insitute's Worksite Wellness Program. At the Coles Recreation and Sports Center, Dr. DiPalma offers instructional programs in Ballet, Wing Chun Kung Fu, and Stretch and Movement.
THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK
( Borough of Manhattan Community College - BMCC)
Dr. DiPalma offers instruction in English As A Second Language (Intermediate/Advanced) at BMCC's Office of Continuing Education. Culturally diverse groups of students learn English conversation (including use of idioms), pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, and vocabulary. Course delivery is highly interactive - students learn in small groups while they read thought provoking articles aloud, answer questions to develop comprehension, and offer written and verbal summaries of their critical thinking.

Lesson plans are modified according to the needs and interests of students so that the course material may be applied to students' everyday lives. For a current schedule of ESL programs, send your Email to dipalma@dmtgroup.com or call (718) 457-3216.
