American Dance Therapy Association
(ADTA)
Over 1100 professional,
associate, and international members participate in on-going
dance/movement therapy workshops, yearly conferences,
and special events.
The ADTA and other creative arts therapy organizations were
instrumental in helping to write dance/movement therapy into Public
Law 102-375, also cited as Older Americans Act Amendment of 1992.
The last annual conference
"Celebrating
30 Years"
was held at the
Rye Hilton Hotel October 19-22, 1995.
